Brain Gym is a series of sessions that are eight weeks in length and consist of two classes per week. Each class is divided into two parts, brain exercise and physical exercise. Brain exercises are completed online and on paper in the classroom. Class members work at their individual level and move at their own pace under the supervision of the instructor.
We make physical exercise fun with low-impact, low-stress workouts such as chair yoga, chair Tai Chi, and chair aerobic exercises, chair dancing, and wheelchair workouts.
GETTING STARTED
The first step is to take the Brain Gym initial assessment that tells us what areas of cognition need work. There will be a new assessment at the end of every completed eight-week session.
To benefit most from Brain Gym, we ask you to commit to full sessions. Individual classes are not recommended as it will likely take at least six to eight weeks using the prescribed curriculum of brain and physical exercise to begin to see an improvement in cognition, mood, or physical ability.

Performed at a slower pace, with less intense positions, and includes extended time for meditation, yogic breath work, and relaxation.
This gentle stretching workout will help improve your flexibility, circulation, posture and relieve stress.
Balancing exercises work your core muscles, lower back, and legs. Lower-body strength-training exercises can also help improve your balance and help prevent falls.
